Dozen Huskies honored in district

Lead Summary

A dozen Nashua-Plainfield football players received postseason honors from the Class A, District 4 coaches after a season in which the Huskies went 2-7 overall and 2-4 in district play.
Three Huskies — seniors John Krull and Lukas Bucknell and junior Evan Kalainoff — were named to the first team while a pair of Nashua-Plainfield players, sophomore Derik Auchstetter and junior Ike Sinnwell, were named to the second team.
Senior Levi Lindner and sophomore Kristian Holmvig were both named honorable mention while six Huskies — Shane Hillesheim, Kalainoff, Jordan Klueber, Tanner Striegel, Sinnwell and Michael Stille — earned all-academic honors. Hillesheim, Kalainoff, Klueber and Striegel were all first-team all-academic selections while Sinnwell and Stille were named to the second team.
