New Hampton takes two more

Lead Summary

Braydon Fisher understandably has no regrets when it comes to his decision to play baseball this summer.
“I love playing baseball with this team, and I love playing anything for New Hampton,” the senior outfielder said after the Chickasaw concluded a wildly successful regular season with a 7-3 win over Lansing Kee on Friday. “Winning is great, but man, just being a part of a team like this it’s been pretty amazing.”
The Chickasaws, who also hammered Lake Mills 13-0 on Thursday, finished the regular season with a 26-5 record and will open the Class 2A district tournament with a game against North Fayette Valley, a 14-4 winner over Sumner-Fredericksburg, at 7 tonight [Tuesday] at Mikkelson Park.
