Trojan boys get first victory

Lead Summary

Chris Sullivan is getting his holiday baking done early. After the Turkey Valley boys picked up their first win of the season, 72-39 over West Central, he spelled out his favorite recipe.
“Tonight the boys came out and played with a lot of energy and were flying around getting deflections and coming up with steals which initiated our offense,” he said.
“We thought we did a great job of contesting shots and not giving them second chance opportunities. The kids had 15 steals and created 25 plus turnovers and that is a recipe for victory.”
That set the table for a 22-8 first quarter lead, and by the half the Trojans led 42-19.
“On the offensive end the guys got the ball to the middle and good things happened from this.”
